Valencia CF Women’s first team and Academy enjoy a family celebration of the 4 promotions

Valencia CF Femenino have reached an agreement for Celia Fernández to become a valencianista for the next two seasons, until 30 June 2027.
Celia Fernández, born in Pravia (Asturias) on 4 August 1996, is an experienced defender in the category who joins the Valencian side from Fundación Albacete (2022–25), a club where she already worked under the current Valencia CF Femenino head coach, Mikel Crespo.
The defender took her first steps in football in her homeland, Asturias, first representing Pravia and then Oviedo Moderno. Her development continued in Asturias with Real Oviedo Femenino (2014–19). She then signed for Villarreal CF (2019–20) and Córdoba CF Femenino (2020–22) before joining the Albacete-based team. In addition, Celia has represented Spain at youth international level.
The Asturian joins Valencia CF Femenino with the aim of becoming an important figure in the team’s defensive line and contributing to the achievement of the team’s goals.
